We chose our name from the old Aéropostale (a french Postal Airline from the 1920-30's, the first in the world to deliver cross-atlantic mail via airplanes) We did so because some of their pilots were inspiring people for us... Search Google for St-Exupery, Mermoz, Guillaumet you'll see that "that the vintage Aéropostale" was way more than clothes...

When we found out the name was used in the US to sell some rags we were sadly surprised and a bit puzzled.

We are a small DIY band... Not signed on any label, nothing but some free Mp3 websites and a CD burner to copy our tracks. I mean, we chose the name as an inspiration, not to make money out of it. As an "hommage" to these guys who were risking their lives...

So, we do our best to rank just below "Aeropostale Clothing Inc" in Google...
Just to piss them off...
Just to make some potential clients of theirs freak out when they hear
something other than Justin Tenderflake or Ashtray Simpson...
